Once you've purchased your Value Plan membership [either online or downloaded the brochure and mailed your payment], you will receive via mail an printed directory of all participating Value Plan providers.


Do I schedule the appointment or does the Value Plan?

Answer: Each Value Plan member must identify which provider you would like that is on the provided directory of participating Value Plan providers that is included in your mailed package. Each patient/Value Plan member must contact the desired provider on the directory to schedule an appointment.

Please be sure to tell them that you are a Value Plan member. [Sometimes with staff turnover, Office staff might not be aware of the discounts available through Value Plan]. If the chiropractor's office you've contacted indicates that they are not aware of the Value Plan, please have them contact the Value Plan Credentialing Office and we will be happy to educate and inform them of their participation.

Please be sure to notify us if your chosen provider has any questions or comments about the Value Plan program or does not want to participate. We will be happy to answer any questions they might have prior to your visit and before any payments are made. What happens when I first visit the chiropractor's office?

Answer: Please show the office staff or doctor your Value Plan ID Card. Upon exit of your appointment at the office, the office staff or doctor should accept the discount(s) as stated on the back of the ID Card. Patients who use the Value Plan Card at a participating provider's practice are 100% responsible for the payment of all services provided by a Value Plan participating provider and are 100% responsible for any payments for cancelled of missed appointments.


If a patient has insurance or does not have insurance coverage, can they still use Value Plan?

Answer: Yes! The Value Plan has no restrictions for usage. Value Plan is designed for those patients who have either exceeded their allowable visits or do not have chiropractic care benefits or who may be uninsured.


Are Massage Therapy and Acupuncture discounts available with the Value Plan?

Answer: No. Massage therapy is not a covered discount under the Value Plan program, nor is acupuncture. In Virginia, acupuncture services are only available from 'select' participating providers.   • This plan is not a health insurance policy and requires no claim forms on behalf of
    the Value Plan provider.
  • Plan Exclusions: Vitamin Supplements; Structural Supports; Services Covered By
    A Medical, Massage Therapy; Acupuncture; Auto or Workers’ Compensation Insurance Policy or Services Performed By A Non-Participating Soteria Healthcare Network Chiropractic/CAM provider.
  • Discount(s) apply to ONLY credentialed providers of Value Plan's participating provider network(s). If your chiropractic/CAM provider is not a member of the Value Plan Program, you may nominate your provider and we'll send them information on how to become a Value Plan provider. You may nominate them by calling (770) 455-8190 x137 or (800) 816-2671 x 137.
  • Value Plan is designed for those patients who have either exceeded their allowable visits or do not have chiropractic care benefits. Patients who use the Value Plan Card at a participating provider's practice are 100% responsible for the payment of all services provided by a Value Plan participating provider and are 100% responsible for any payments for cancelled of missed appointments.
  • Value Plan participating providers are not reviewed for clinical necessity.
  • Value Plan's participating provider network(s) and its affiliated companies and staff make no recommendation, representations, claims or guarantees regarding providers services or products.
  • Value Plan's participating provider network(s) and its affiliated companies and staff are not responsible for any portion of the costs associated with services provided through its discount program.

Value Plan Members save 25% to 35% at all participating Value Plan chiropractic provider offices. There is no limit to the number of visits and visits may be for care which is necessary for medical reasons, or for preventative or maintenance.
