the years, the following questions have been asked about our Value
Plan Memberships:
Is
this an insurance plan?
Answer:
No. The Value Plan is not an insurance plan and only allows
customers to receive discounts on chiropractic/CAM services only.
Patients who use the Value Plan Card at a participating provider's
practice are 100% responsible for the payment of all services provided
by a Value Plan participating provider and are 100% responsible for
any payments for cancelled of missed appointments.
If
a patient has insurance or does not have insurance coverage, can they
still use Value Plan?
Answer:
Yes! The Value Plan has no restrictions for usage. Value Plan
is designed for those patients who have either exceeded their allowable
visits or do not have chiropractic care benefits or who may be uninsured.
Can
I visit the participating Value Plan provider as often as I choose?
Answer:
Yes! The Value Plan has no restrictions for usage. You may schedule
all appointments with the participating chiropractor of your choice
indicated on the Value Plan directory as often as you'd like.
If
I have a high deductible insurance plan, can my cash payments be counted
towards the deductible?
Answer:
Yes, but once you meet your deductible, you cannot count those
payments.
Are
Massage Therapy and Acupuncture discounts available with the Value
Plan?
Answer:
No.
Massage therapy and acupuncture are not services included in the discount
program under Value Plan. Acupuncture services are available from
select participating providers in Virginia. Please e-mail us to request
a list of participating providers in Virginia who provide acupuncture

What
if a provider is not in my area?
Answer:
If you find that a provider is not in your area and you would
like to "Nominate" your provider to join Value Plan, please
e-mail us with his/her practice name and address at: info@myvalueplan.com.
Can
I change doctors?
Answer:
Yes! Anytime and as often as youd like.
If
I have exceeded the amount of chiropractic care visits in my health
insurance plan, can I use the Value Plan to receive further care from
my participting Value Plan provider?
Answer:
Yes. Value Plan is designed for those patients who have either
exceeded their allowable visits or do not have chiropractic care benefits.
Patients who use the Value Plan Card at a participating provider's
practice are 100% responsible for the payment of all services provided
by a Value Plan participating provider and are 100% responsible for
any payments for cancelled of missed appointments.
Will
I (or the doctor) have to fill out a claim form?
Answer:
No.
How
do I know if my chiropractor participates in Value Plan?
Answer:

or call us at (800) 816-2671 x 131 and we will be happy to tell
you the name(s) of a provider in your area, and let you with absolute
certainty, whether or not your provider is participating in the
Value Plan prorgam participant.
What
if I purchase a Value Plan membership and my chiropractor doesn't
honor the discount?
Answer:
If your chiropractic/CAM provider does not honor the Value Plan
discount(s) and is a confirmed provider of the program, we will
be happy to refer you to another participating provider. You will
also receive a complete directory of providers each time you renew
or sign up with Value Plan so you may then choose which provider
you would like.

Will
you refund my membership fee if there is not a participating Value
Plan provider outside of 31 miles of my home or work location(s)?
Answer:
Yes. We will refund Value Plan memberships if and only if, it has
been found that there are no participating or nominated providers
outside of 31 miles of your home or work location(s).
When
or how soon can I be eligible to visit a Soteria Healthcare/Value
Plan provider?
Answer:
As soon as you receive your Value Plan Discount Card. Once your
payment is received, you will be eligible in two timeframes:
